Perhentian Island (Pulau Perhentian) is located 19km off East Terengganu, 64km South of Thai border. It’s made up of 2 separate islands, namely Perhentian Besar (Large Perhentian) and Perhentian Kecil (Small Perhentian). Mira Beach is among the popular beach located in the Perhentian Kecil Island.
Just an hour boat ride from the town of Terengganu/Kelantan, immediately you will recognized the relaxing and laid back atmosphere in the island.
The islands remained untouched and the only permanent habitants are the fisherman living in a simple self-sustained fishing village.
