Third time’s — hopefully — the charm.
Nick Viall returns to the Bachelor for another chance at love in the first preview for Season 21 of the ABC reality show. The 35-year-old technology salesman from Milwaukee already lost out twice after being rejected by both Kaitlyn Bristowe and Andi Dorfman, but he’s back to try his luck again. “I want Nick right now,” a mysterious blonde says in the 30-second trailer released Monday night. “Right now.”
While Bachelor Nation was initially shocked when it was announced that Nick would be the next Bach, snagging the title from frontrunners Luke Pell and Chase McNary, their reasoning made sense, given his history with the franchise.
Before his turnaround, the former bachelor was cast as a villain after revealing that he and “Bachelorette” Andi Dorfman had sex in the fantasy suite.
Nick Viall being the next lead on The Bachelor means that he is finally going to find the love he has wanted for so long. He has come up short time and time again, but this almost guarantees he will find the love he desires and has tried to get, but always come up short. Fans will still watch the show in 2017 even though many feel as if Robby Hayes or especially Luke Pell should have landed the gig.
Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor kicks off on Monday, Jan. 2 on ABC.
