Are you having trouble with your cat eye makeup?

Wednesday, 3rd May 2017: If you love that cat-eye look but have been struggling to get it right, there’s now an ingenious tool that will help you avoid cat eye catastrophies.

There are plenty of make-up tutorials that teach you to draw the perfect cat eye but nothing beats this clever tool. The Vamp Stamp helps you achieve uniform flicks on both eyes just by stamping it against the corner of your eyes.

Created by Veronica Lorenz, the Los Angeles-based celebrity make-up artist and award winning innovator, The Vamp Stamp – which was patented in 2013 – is definitely a game-changer in eyeliner tools.

The Vamp Stamp was created out of a special need as Lorenz lost the use of her hands due to a benign cervical spinal cord tumour and could no longer do make-up in the traditional way.

While working on the make-up for The Hunger Games, Lorenz created looks using only her left hand, including the tricky cat eye make-up. So, it’s a tool that can be used by anyone regardless of skill, time or physical challenges.

Add a little Vavavoom

While you can simply coat the wing shaped stamp in any gel or liquid liner, they recommend the Vavavoom Stamp’s own Vink Eyeliner Ink, that is sold separately. Just line the Vavavoom Stamp up with the corner of your eye, press down and you instantly get the perfect cat eye liner!

According to a post in the brand’s Facebook, for the ink to adhere better on the eye area, they recommend using a primer and/or concealer with powder as a base first.

Sold on the brand’s website, the Vavavoom Stamp is available in medium, large and a newly introduced kitten size to complement your eye shape and let you vary the width of your “wings”!
