Friday, 12th May 2017: The Mercedes-Benz Stylo Asia Fashion Festival 2017 recently presented a showcase of looks from two established menswear talents.
It began with a parade of luxuriously styled suits by Malaysian Bon Zainal. Printed jackets, vests and shirts were seen on the runway, underscoring a bold style for new-age gents.
London-based Korean designer Shinhwan Kim then came on with his collection of experimental deconstructed menswear. This was followed once again by Bon, but with a range of resort wear instead.
There was also a show by celebrity muses wearing designer labels supplied by Logo. Among those walking the runway were the royal guests-of-honour and VIPS, with their own undeniable styles.
The show’s theme was The Godfather And The Gentlemen We Love. It celebrates an era in which looking good and elegant was essential, no matter the occasion or situation.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s vice president of sales and marketing, Mark Raine explained that it paid tribute to The Godfather and its inspirational call to be the best that one can be.
