KUANTAN (Bernama): The Pahang state government has never received any formal application or negotiated with any party to build a theme park in Cameron Highlands, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail (pic).
He said the claims to build the theme park were untrue and urged all parties to refer to the state government for the truth behind the issue.
"It is not true... don't believe it, so far there has been no official application and we have never discussed the matter in the Exco meeting," he told a press conference after visiting the vaccination centre (PPV) for adolescents at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bukit Rangin here on Tusaday (Sept 21).

PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia has fully vaccinated 80% its adult population, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
However, he said that the fight against Covid-19 continues.
"Congratulations! Malaysia has achieved 80% full vaccination of its adult population," he said on Tuesday (Sept 21).
According to the CovidNow website, 79.6% or 18,646,795 of the country's adult population had been vaccinated as of noon on Sept 21.
The website also stated that 93.1% of the adult population or 22,097,565 individuals had received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.
Malaysia had initially set the target of fully vaccinating 80% of the country's adult population by October under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.

SEPANG: Covid-19 vaccine booster shots should only be prioritised for the high-risk group and the elderly, not healthy people, says Khairy Jamaluddin.
The Health Minister said Malaysia will not recommend that people who are healthy be given booster shots when the country starts administering them.
“Booster shots should only be given to those who should have it. I am young and have no comorbidities, so should I be taking the booster shot? I’ll be taking a (dose) meant for somebody else.
“Boosters are for people who are elderly and immunocompromised. It is not for healthy people, and we will not recommend it for them right now.

ALOR SETAR: The MySejahtera team resolved over 500,000 complaints of digital vaccination certificates not being displayed on the app within a week, says Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
He said the Health Ministry took note of the complaints regarding the problem among individuals who had received either the first dose or both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, and would continue to ensure that the app updated vaccine recipients’ information from time to time.
