JOHOR BARU: About three years ago, a lorry driver was caught for having in his possession pornographic videos in his mobile phone.
Then on Malaysia Day last week, the 42-year-old allegedly committed an act of gross indecency in his apartment unit that was seen by a neighbour.
Following this, the accused was charged at a magistrate's court on Monday (Sept 20) for indecent and obscene behaviour, as well as having pornographic videos on his mobile phone.
Muhammad Mahadzir Abdullah, however, only pleaded guilty to the one of the charges before magistrate Mohd Zulhilmi Ibrahim.
According to the charge sheet, the accused was found in possession of pornographic videos in his mobile phone at about 6pm on Aug 18, 2018.

JOHOR BARU: A 29-year-old foreign worker suffered from a broken wrist after his arm got stuck in a sticker cutting machine while at work.
Tebrau Fire and Rescue Department operations commanding officer Ramli A. Hamid said the mishap took place at a factory in Jalan Dewani 4 off Jalan Tampoi here at around 10.10am on Sunday (Sept 19).
"We arrived to find the victim’s right arm caught in the machine.
"It took us about 10 minutes to free his arm by using rescue cutter equipment to pry open the machine," he said.
He added that the injured man was handed over to the Health Department for medical treatment.
JOHOR BARU: A businesswoman who recently lost her husband was cheated out of close to RM400,000 of her savings after falling for a love scam syndicate.
Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said that the 23-year-old had befriended an individual on Instagram who claimed to be from London, United Kingdom in April this year.
"The victim befriended the suspect under the username ‘chongwei4580’ and had fallen in love with the suspect,” he said.
"On Sept 10, the suspect had contacted the victim after her husband passed away and offered a gift worth USD950,000 (RM3.9mil) as condolences to her," added CommAyob in a statement here on Saturday (Sept 18).

JOHOR BARU: Police have detained 14 people for partying at a bungalow in Taman Perling here on early Thursday (Sept 16).
Johor Baru North OCPD Asst Comm Rupiah Abd Wahid said the suspects, all Malaysians aged from 20 to 41, were arrested at around 2.30am.
"The party started at around 10.30pm on Wednesday (Sept 15) and the bungalow was rented for RM2,000,'' she said in a press statement on Friday (Sept 17).
ACP Rupiah said the bungalow was rented by a 41-year old man, the organiser of the party.
She said police also seized a variety of drugs believed to be ganja, ketamine and ecstasy.
Five men, including the party organiser, also tested positive for drugs.
