Devi’s Corner

One of the unique factors about Devi’s Corner’s banana leaf rice is that their main sides include a chutney with big, thick slices of mango. It tastes more sweet than sour, but then again most of the food here is a little lacklustre for those who expect richer flavours. For example, the fish masala curry is thick and creamy, but there’s a real lack of salt in the broth. The papadum and fried bitter gourd were the best garnishing we had out of everything else. Still, this is the place you might consider for awork day lunch because it feels extremely light on the stomach after.
