How to lose weight: Roger Kwok shares some dieting tips


Roger Kwok Chun-on is Hong Kong television actor who works on the TV station TVB. Kwok was born in Hong Kong and his native family roots are in Zhongshan, Guangdong. Kwok used to be a singer before becoming an actor. 

Roger Kwok who took on a role on TVB drama Dead Wrong dropped 30 pounds to get into his ideal shape of the character he was portraying.

According to Roger, he thought it was most suitable for him to be underweight and extremely gaunt, in order to reflect his character’s bitter experiences in the drama.

Said Roger:
“The weight loss actually isn’t as difficult as I have thought.”
“During the weight loss, it is very important to continue exercising.”
“Do not eat carbohydrates during dinner and completely cut off rice.”
“Only vegetables and meat, particularly a lot of vegetables.”
“Eat beef, fish and pork sparingly.”
“Just a handful of meat everyday and two bowls of vegetables with it.”
“Also, don’t eat after 7pm.”

Roger also credited his weight loss to help from his wife, who had studied nutrition and helped him prepare his meals.
