LOCAL participants of the 13th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) in Nanning are banking on the trade show to promote their services and ultimately boost tourism in Brunei.
CAEXPO was launched yesterday, with some 2,600 foreign companies taking part.
Eleven companies from Brunei are currently at the Nanning International Convention & Exhibition Centre in the southern Chinese province of Guangxi to showcase their products and services to CAEXPO visitors until November 14.
Some of the Brunei participants include Jerudong International School (JIS), Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) and Brunei Halal promoter Ghanim International Corporation Sdn Bhd.
One of the smaller enterprises participating at the CAEXPO is Eman Enterprise which specialises in homemade cookies and is seeking Chinese distributors for its products.
