Tuesday, 4 October 2016

PETALING JAYA: The Formula One Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix saw higher turnout totaling 83,828 spectators this year, surpassed last year’s attendance by 3,224.

Although the numbers showed an improvement, they would persist on doing more to promote the race next year.

The International Automobile Federation has recently confirmed the race calender for next year’s Formula 1 Championship will be held on September 17, 2017.

Racing fans got to witness an adrenaline-pumping Grand Prix with the Mercedes AMG Petronas and Red Bull teams battling it out at the Sepang circuit.

Eventually, Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo won for Red Bull.

Fans also enjoyed a range of activities for all ages organised by SIC in line with their Experience Redef1ned theme.

The weekend concluded with the After-Race Concert headlined by American singer Usher.
