Home / Local Food and Eating Places / KELANTAN: NASI BERLAUK POKOK KEKUK @CHERRY

If you happen to drive around Kota Bharu you may not realize this Kedai Makan as it is shaded by a sturdy Cherry tree or Pokok Kekuk as known by the locals. The locals are accustomed to this as having breakfast in the morning gives them more energy to do laborious work just like their ancestors did before them. With a menu that includes gulai ayam, gulai daging, ikan kembung/ikan selar masak masam, fried chicken and others, it’s understandable why locals flock here before their they go off for their daily routine.
